Utah Live Steamers Railroad Club-Saratoga Springs Shay ParkUtah Live Steamers Railroad Club, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, is seeking sponsors and donations to help build a 1.6" scale 7.5" gauge miniature railroad in Saratoga Springs Shay Park, located at Aspen Hills Blvd. and Lyndi Lane. The Railroad will comprise of two loops of track with a length of 2,500", thus allowing guests and visitors a 15 minute ride around a small portion of the park. Our goal is to have the first loop of track built and trains operating by the second week of June 2016. We will offer benefits for the following donation amounts:$ 200 - Name placed on the family charter railroad flat car. $ 300 - Name placed on one side of a railroad car and a 1-hour special operating session with a locomotive and 3 railroad cars. $ 500 - Name and or company name and logo placed on two sides of a railroad flat car, plus a two-hour operating session with a locomotive, railroad cars and the training to operate the train. $1,000 - Name placed on both sides of a flat car, gondola 2-hour special operating session. $5,000 - Two railroad cars painted and lettered with your name or company logo, plus a 2-hour special operating session, $10,000 - A 1.6" scale 7.5" gauge diesel locomotive painted and lettered in your company name or logo, special operating sessions and the training to operate the locomotive and train with non-revenue equipment. Train rides will be a donation of $1.00 for an individual and a family will be $5.00. Special events are also available for birthdays, family reunions, and holidays for a $25.00 - $50.00 donation. (All train rides are subject to change due to weather and city events.)
