All you need is love at Alpine Days this year

ALPINE The city's annual celebration with a theme of "All you need is love" will be held Friday, August 3, to Saturday, August 11, this year. Most of the events will be held at Creekside Park, 100 North 600 East. Special events will include a kick-off fireside, a luau, senior dinner, teen party and dance, art show and chalk the block, along with the traditional parade and fireworks. This year there's also a return of the traditional Alpine Days fish grab contest on Saturday. The Alpine Market will be located in the southwest corner of Creekside Park.

Races and Tournaments
There will be a pickleball tournament, a mountain bike race, a three-on-three basketball tournament and a 5k and Toddler trot.

Fitness
Fitness in the Park includes a HIIT workout, yoga, Lila yoga, barre fitness and Zumba in the park,

Free Family Events
Families can enjoy the helicopter ping pong drop, movie in the park ("Coco"), foam party, pet show and petting zoo, fireworks, remote control car race and a car show, along with music and storytelling.

Carnival
Carnival rides and waterslides will be available Friday and Saturday. A two-day wristband costs $25 (5 and under $15)
Rodeo
The annual rodeo will be preceded by Mutton Bustin' where youngsters can get in on riding sheep for fun and prizes.
